BOO!

If you’re anything like me and have left Halloween plans last minute and your terrifying toddler isn’t quite old enough to hit the streets for trick-or-treating, you can still get involved in some spooky fun that won’t give your mini monster nightmares.

Check out these eerie Halloween events within driving distance of Thame.

Witches & Wizards at Blenheim Palace

Families can enjoy plenty of Halloween entertainment at Blenheim Palace this October half-term with a magical ‘Witches and Wizards’ trail in the Marlborough Maze at the Pleasure Gardens. Spine-tingling story-telling will take place at weekends in the Courtyard.

Halloween Howl at Millet’s Farm

The Millets Maize Maze is transformed into a spooky world of webs and witches. With bone-shaking and spectacular experiences both inside and out of the maize. Don’t forget to visit the circus, its children friendly with great entertainment for the entire family.

Halloween Activities at Waddesdon Manor

There’s tonnes of activities going on at Waddesdon Manor, with an ‘owlfully’ good Halloween trial- follow the Halloween Hoot trial, or be more creative and carve your very own pumpkin, or if you prefer to join the spell casters head over to the Pumpkin Party.

Freaky Fortnight at Mead Farm

Mead Farm and featuring five huge and incredible haunted attractions full of live and terrifying creatures. The Howl is an awesome night out full of fun and screams.

Dead Friday at The Ashmolen Museum

There’s lots to do at the Ashomolen this Halloween, sit back and watch the silent horror films accompanied by live piano music (if you’re brave enough) or make your own Latin headstone! There’s lots of activities on, you’ll be sure to find something for everyone.

Happy Halloween, I’d love to hear what you get up to
