Bank Holiday Weekend | Things to do in Thame | Thame Driving Blog | Thame, Oxfordshire

I’m sure we only just had a Bank Holiday weekend, yet here we are again, about to go into another long weekend.

I could get used to this, especially with so many great things going on in the Thame area to keep the whole family entertained!

Here are my top 3 picks for what to get up to this weekend.

Number one…

The charity football & family fun day on Bank Holiday Monday.

Taking place between 12 and 4 a the ASM stadium, this looks like a lot of fun and is raising money for a great cause: the Air Ambulance in memory of Barnaby Cork.

Number two…

The famous Tiddington car boot sale on Sunday.

I don’t know about you, but I love a good mooch around a car boot sale!

If you’ve got the appetite for it, you could even use the opportunity to convert some of your old junk into cash in hand… and then spend it again on somebody else’s junk.

Don’t you just love being British?

Number three…

Music In The Park between Noon and 9pm on Sunday.

If you’ve any energy left from your romp around inspecting the attic contents of the good people of Oxfordshire, head over to the spectacular Music In The Park at Elm’s Park in Thame.

30 acts on 3 different stages, a beer tent, kids entertainment and a guaranteed convivial atmosphere.

Now what’s that weather supposed to be doing this weekend…

If any of these tickle your fancy, head over to the Thame Town Council website for more details on each of them, and a bunch of other things to do that didn’t quite make it into our top 3.

Whatever you’re up to this weekend, have fun and stay safe.

Happy weekend!
