What do I do if I find something wrong with my car?

At Thame Service Station we want to help you if your car goes wrong, please call us and we will help you resolve your problem as quickly as possible.

Do you offer a collection and delivery service?

If you really can't get over to us to collect your car then will will deliver to you, there may be a small charge for the service depending on how far away you are.

How quickly can I have my new car?

We would like you to take your car as soon as possible. We can provide you with 7 days free insurance so we can collect your car tax for you.

Do you offer free insurance?

Yes we can. We have teamed up with Norwich Union to provide you with this service.

Does my car come with fuel?

Your car will come with the fuel that is in it. If you wish to we can fill the car up for you before you arrive to collect it.

What documentation do I need for my part exchange?

You will need to bring your registration document (V5) and MOT certificate and any relevant service history for the car. If you have lost your V5 document or can't provide us with one will will give you a V62 form to apply for a new one, we will take a £100 deposit from you and refund you when you bring us the replacement document.

What will I need to bring when I collect my new car?

You need to bring all your part exchange details, plus both parts of your driving liscense if you are financing your vehicle. Oh yes and some money please!!

Do you offer finance?

We can provide you a great no fees finance package through Black Horse (Lloyds Bank) Motor Finance.

Do you take part exchange?/Can you value my car over the phone?/Do you take Vans as part exchange?/Do you take motorbikes as part exchange?

We welcome all forms of part exchange including Motorbikes and Vans.

Do you sell Vans?

Yes we can supply all types of van from small Combo vans through too Monvano and Vivaro.

Will my new car be serviced?

We service every car car before you collect unless the car is not due for a service. In which case we provide a TSS safety check so you can be sure you are driving away in an excellent vehicle. We can also book you in for your next service when you collect so you can forward plan your motoring needs.

How much warranty is with the car?

All our cars come with the balance of manufacturers warranty. You can also extend and upgrade the warranty through Thame Service Station.

Do I need to pay a deposit to secure a car?

Yes. We require a £300 deposit to secure any car. That way when you come to see us you won't be dissapointed.

Why are your cars such good value?

We buy our cars in numbers so that we can get the very best price.We see it as our responsibility to pass that saving on to you

Is there a discount for cash?

If you don't have a part exchange then there will be an opportunity to haggle on price, however I'm sure you are aware that our cars are priced very competitvely so we would not normally discount our screen price. We do offer a very fair price for your part exchange.

How can I pay for my car?

You can pay for your new car in several different ways. We accept either a Bankers draft, transferred cleared funds, a Debit card with a PIN number, a Credit card (there will be a 2% charge on a Credit card), Black Horse Motor Finance or Cash. We DO NOT accept personal cheques.

Do you accept personal cheques?

We DO NOT accept personal cheques under any circumstance.

Can I get my car Supagarded?

Yes you can. The best time for us to Supagard your vehicle is before you collect so we car valet the car at the same time. This way your car will be delivered in its best possible condition. Ask your sales executive about it.

Does my car come taxed?

Your car will come taxed for either 12 or 6 months as you request. We will fill in the paperwork and go to the Post Office or DVLA (if you are having a cherished transfer). The only thing we ask of you is payment!

Are there any admin fees to pay?

There are no hidden admin charges when you buy a car from Thame Service Station.

Can I take a test drive?

At Thame Service Station we want you to buy the right car for you. The only way you can do that is by testing them. So we welcome you to test drive as many cars as you wish.

Is there always a good selection of cars at TSS?

We believe that in order for you to make the right car buying decision you need to be able to see a good range of stock, which is why we keep over 70 cars in stock at any one time.

I want to buy a car but I have outstanding finance on my old car, can I still buy one?

No problem. We can arrange your purchase so you won't have to worry about form filling or waiting for cars to be paid off. Speak to one of our team about it and we will sort it out without any fuss.

Do you have all the cars you say you have?

We pride ourselves on being able to supply all the offers that we run. We always take a number from you if you are travelling far so if something should happen on route to us we can always call you so you don't have a wasted journey.

Can I park when I get to your site?

Yes we have a large carpark available. If you should find it difficult to park on a busy day one of our staff will be happy to park your car for you while you browse our stock.
